Projects
Below are key projects from my education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with a project from my internship. These projects showcase the technical and creative skills I’ve developed over the past four years.
Voices of Consolation: Reagan’s Challenger Address and Obama’s Sandy Hook Speech
Political & Rhetorical Analyst
For my CA 610: Theoretical Advances in U.S. Presidential Discourse class, I completed a comparative analysis of Ronald Reagan’s Challenger Address and Barack Obama’s Sandy Hook speech to explore the evolution of presidential rhetoric. By examining the historical context, rhetorical strategies, and emotional appeals in each national eulogy, the project reveals how presidents use public communication to guide national mourning, promote unity, and define leadership in moments of crisis. This project was the result of extensive research, critical analysis, and a deep personal interest in the power of presidential language. I was especially passionate about uncovering how words can offer comfort, shape public memory, and reflect broader cultural values. Through this study, I gained a deeper appreciation for the role of rhetoric in national healing and the responsibility leaders carry in times of tragedy.
Summer Moodboard Instagram Reel – Women's Bras Feature
Led creative direction, sourced images, and supported content planning
As part of my Product Marketing internship at Jockey International, I collaborated with the Social Media Specialist to create a summer-themed Instagram Reel for the Jockey brand. I led the creative direction of the project, starting with curating summer-inspired stock images to set the visual tone of the reel. This moodboard set the stage for a seamless transition into a highlight of one of Jockey’s most popular women’s bras. I took initiative in the concept development, image sourcing, and storytelling structure of the reel while gaining valuable experience in the strategic planning and execution of social media content for a national brand.

“Lottery” by K Camp – The Song That Changed Music Marketing
Podcast Creator
For my CA 330: Music Industries & Pop Culture class, I produced a podcast pitch analyzing the industrial impact of K Camp’s Lottery (Renegade) and its viral rise on TikTok. The episode explores how fan-driven engagement and social media algorithms reshaped music promotion, shifting power away from traditional marketing. I examined how Lottery became a case study in short-form virality and the growing influence of user-generated content. The podcast also highlights the Renegade dance controversy and broader issues around digital credit for Black creators. Framed as a narrative blending industry insight and cultural analysis, this project strengthened my skills in research, scriptwriting, and audio production, while offering a deeper understanding of digital-era music trends.
